About the Archive Maps

The Centropa Archive includes location data (city & country) for all of the Interviews we made and most of the Photos we received from our interviewees. 

We turned these city & country names on each piece of content into geographical latitudes and longitudes, and put all of the Biographies and Photos on zoomable, browsable maps.

1. Click a marker to see how many content items we have for a city.
2. Click a link in any map popup to open the results for that city in a sidebar.
3. In the sidebar that opens, click any photo to open the Biography or Photo.
4. From the sidebar you can also continue to our detailed archive search to see other search options.
